Thank you to Dino's foster mum

This is to the foster parents who love selflessly. The ones who put an animal’s happiness and safety before their own emotions. The young people who aren’t in the position to have their own animal yet, and instead of spending their time with other things, they decide to foster an animal in need. The expats who move a lot and instead of closing off, they open their homes to animals for the time they’re here. The families who COULD adopt, but choose to foster instead because they understand the vital importance of this bridge between rescue and adoption.

The emotional strength, love and dedication of these special humans always amazes us. Many fosters (including ourselves) start off quite unsure, unsure if we are truly capable of this act of love and selflessness. The good news is, it can be learnt 🥰 over time, after seeing your previous fosters thrive in loving families, it does become easier. And it’s a huge self growth exercise.

Thank you Yiran for opening up your heart and home to our Dino. We are grateful he could be safe and loved by you during this part of his Fapf journey. We are sad to see you go, but if you’re ever back in Hungary, we hope to see you again 🥰

As for Dino, he moved to another one of our awesome long term fosters, Sally, where he has already settled beautifully ❤️

Being a foster is tough but it is vital. Thanks to these two ladies, Dino can sleep peacefully each night in a soft bed rather than in a kennel.

We hope soon the right family will apply for him, so maybe he can complete his last ever move and finally meet his FOREVER. ❤️

Until then, he will be loved by us, our awesome volunteers, and maybe virtually some of you, who follow his journey.
