Leya, dear Leya. Our heart breaks for her. She is already shivering all day and night in the kennel, it will only get worse from here … 💔
She’s about to start her 4th winter in an outdoor kennel 😢
At 7 years old, with her appearance, her chances are low… it doesn’t help that Leya doesn’t like strangers… she isn’t reactive, but does not want unknown people approaching her or touching her. We think this is absolutely manageable, but of course this means she is not a “love at first sight” dog…
She is extremely smart, a quick learner and super athletic. We think she’d be brilliant in any sport activities too. She ACED the hard dog race and could have completed even trickier obstacles:) we are so proud of her!
Leya is used to walking on leash and she is not reactive to dogs/people/cars. She is very good at ignoring things:) she is also muzzle trained.
Leya is suspicious at first, but once she loves you, she LOVES you. She can be picked up, hugged and kissed. She is obsessed with tennis balls and happy to play fetch all day:)) sadly most days she only gets a small walk or 10-15 minutes of play time outside… she deserves more than this 🙏🏼
Leya doesn’t have any health issues, she is vaccinated, spayed and up to date on deworming.
She has never had the opportunity to live in a home but we can totally imagine her cuddling up on the couch once settled 🥰🥰🥰 if you foster / adopt her, we will send her with her very own sweaters and coats she she never has to feel cold again. That’s our dream for her ❤️

Leya is looking for an adult only home, without other pets. She can be introduced to male dogs but generally does best as a single pet.
